Oof is a statement of realization. When you realize something like "omg that bartender is hot" you could say "oof." Or when you realize that your about to get soaked on splash mountain and you still have your $400 phone in your pocket--Thats an "oof."

Hup is also a realization, but its more of a statement for excitement (i.e. when parkers neck item dropped).

as he pushed himself violently away from his desk so he could stand up and raise his arms up like he just made a soccer goal. He might have ripped his shirt off. IDK!
